AZTEK Smog Check Training School
It’s now much easier and more affordable than it has been in over 20 years.
Starting August 1st, 2012, the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) changed the smog technician licensing system by creating two separate licenses: one for Smog “Inspectors” and another for Smog “Repair” Technicians.
If you don’t have enough prior experience, it’s important to note that training alone is no longer accepted as a substitute. The BAR now requires applicants to gain hands-on experience working in an automotive repair shop to qualify for either license.
If you have any questions about these new regulations or want to sign up for classes, feel free to contact our office.
